Personal media — you are not the product.

Social media is about broadcasting to strangers. Personal media is about connecting with your people.

Direct messages, groups, and feeds — routed through cMixx on the xx network. Sealed end-to-end. Metadata shredded at the mixnet layer. By the time a message arrives, the network has forgotten who sent it.

modes
direct messagingone to one

Say it to one person.

Sealed end-to-end, no read receipts, no "last seen". Two codenames and a conversation the network cannot place.

group chatsthe rooms you choose

Say it to your people.

Rooms are joined with a share code. The app has no directory to browse and no way to search for a room you are not in. Moderation belongs to the room's own members — there is no one outside it who could.

Say it to whoever follows.

A feed is a stream you own. Followers subscribe with a code you hand them — there is no algorithm deciding who sees what. You post; they read.

what is not herecounts, lists, and searches

No algorithm, no ads, and no score.

There is no account to make — no phone number, no email address, nothing sent anywhere to be verified. Your codename is generated on your own device, from keys that never leave it.

Nothing here is keeping track of you. The app never counts your followers, and a post never tells you how many people saw it. There is no like button, no repost, no reaction — a reply is the only thing a post can receive. Even an unread conversation is a dot rather than a number.

There is nothing to climb, either: no trending list, no leaderboard, nothing that ranks one person above another. And nobody to go looking for — the app never asks for your contacts, there are no hashtags and no topics, and no codename can be looked up. What you have grows only as fast as you hand out your code.
