The first public build

There is a build you can install, on four platforms: Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. It is an alpha, it is free, and there is no account to create.

Direct messages, groups, and feeds, routed through cMixx on the xx network mainnet. You choose a passphrase and pick a codename, and that is the whole of it — no email address, no phone number, nothing sent anywhere to be verified. Your identity lives on your device.

These builds are not signed yet, so every system will warn you the first time you open one. The warning is about the missing signature, not about the file. The download page says what yours will show, and getting started walks through the rest.

iOS ships nothing. The app runs on it, but no route hands a build to someone else’s iPhone without a paid developer account, so there is nothing on the download page for it.

The source is public as well, under a BSD-2 licence, at gitlab.com/co-nexx-us/app.

Something wrong? Tell us at support@co-nexx.us. Settings → About shows which build you are on, and that is the most useful thing you can put in the first line.
